Engineered Products Company, Inc. was established in Denver, Colorado, as a heating ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) and boiler room specialist. Our Company history goes back to 1898. We are Celebrating 110 Years in business as a Manufacturer's Representative. As a contemporary Manufacturerer's Representative Agency, dedicated to serving our clients and end customers, we believe in providing the best products and service available.

Engineered Products Company

Management

Byron Fenton, Company President, General Manager, and stockholder, joined Engineered Products Company in 1977. Prior to joining the Company, Byron worked for a Boiler and Hydronic Manufactureres Representative for 15 years and now has 43 years experience in the Heating/Hyronic industry. Byron served as President for the Rocky Mountain Gas Association (1987). Byron's knowledge of and expertise includes electronics, boiler controls and components, boiler startup, and troubleshooting. Byron handles daily operations and is our in-house cast iron boiler expert.

David (Dave) Baumann, P.E., Company Vice-President, Sales Manager, and stockholder, joined Engineered Products Company in 1990. Dave had 13 years experience as an Engineering Consultant with Swanson Rink, BHCD, and A.B.S. Consultants and as a Project Engineer for Ball Corporation. Dave is a licensed registered PE in Colorado, Wyoming and Idaho for nearly 30 years. Dave is responsible for all Engineered Products Company Outside Sales and primarily calls on Engineers and Contractors. Dave routinely sponsors Technical Training Seminars.

Dave served the Rocky Mountain Chapter of American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air-Conditioning, Engineers (ASHRAE) as Newsletter Editor (1981-82), Treasurer (1982-83), Secretary (1983-84), Vice-President (1984-85), President-Elect (1985-86) and President (1986-87). Dave aslo served the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE) as Vice-President Membership (1992-1997) and as President (1998-2000).

Jeff Back, Company Treasurer, Service Manager, and stockholder, joined Engineered Products Company in 1978. Jeff came to Engineered Products Company after 3-years of service in the Navy. Jeff has served on Factory Service Advisory Councils (1990-1994) and has 28 years of experience in boiler service, testing, startup and troubleshooting. Jeff keeps his own industry training current and up-to-date. Jeff trains boiler operators in maintenance and troubleshooting.

Technical Sales

Rich Apple, Outside/Inside Sales Representative and Quotations, joined Engineered Products Company in 2002. Rich is responsible for sales and service of wholesalers, Contractors and Engineers in Wyoming, Eastern Colorado, and the Nebraska panhandle. Rich has a total of 23 years of plumbing, heating, and hydronic technical experience that started in his Uncle's plumbing business as a teenager. As a Project Manager in the Commercial Heating industry, Rich knows the importance of specification and project scheduling. HIs former experience as a Branch Manager for a major Wholesaler and Distributor as a Factory Representative set him apart from his contemporaries in technical sales. Rich serves as Vice-President Membership to ASPE (2005 to present) and provides training for our Company sponsored Technical Training Seminars.

Tim Lindstrom joined Engineered Products Company in 2005 as outside Sales Representative and Quotations. Tim is primarily responsible for sales in Central and Western Colorado. Tim's 11 years of experience with boilers, controls, and hydronic and solar systems make him a valuable Company asset. Tim was a founding member and First Chapter President of the Rocky Mountain Chapter for the Radiant Panel Association (RPA) (1998-2000) and may be called upon for Radiant and Snowmelt Products and Product Lines. As a certified hydronics Control School Instructor for 10 years, Tim provides a variety of technical Training seminars for Contractors, Engineers, and Distributors.

Bill Stout joined Engineered Products Company in 2006 as an Inside Quotations Specialist. With 23 years experience with a diverse range of boilers and mechanical equipment, Bill's reliability and knowledge is drawn upon daily. A technical and detail-oriented guy, Bill is expertly trained by numerous Manufacturers in the industry.

Jerry Crowder joined Engineered Products Company in 2001 to assist with quotations, inside sales, parts and follow-up. Jerry has 40 years experience in the Wholesale Plumbing and Heating industry and previously managed a Heating Department for a major wholesaler. Often times asked for assistance by name by our customers, he is fondly referred to as "Old Man River".

Startup and Service

Mike Back joined Engineered Products Company in 2002 as a Service Technician. Mike is specially trained to perform startup, service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our Products and Product Lines through diverse Manufacturers training and has been under Jeff Back's tutelage for almost 5 years.

Office and Assistant Sales

Claudia Eaton joined Engineered Products Company in 1989 as the Company Bookeeper, with previous experience working for a Manufacturers Representative. Claudia is our Accounts Payable and Receivable Department, Company Notary, and is responsible for Office Management and general business tracking. Claudia keeps our "office engine" running smoothly with her talents.

Sharon Trujillo joined Engineered Products Company in 2000, formerly a Project Manager and Analyst coming from the IT Insurance industry. Sharon is our in-house Sales Assistant and capable computer operator. She is responsible for processing and tracking quotes and purchase orders through our Company. Sharon provides Submittals, Operation and Maintenance Manuals and well-rounded Sales Assistance.

Tracy Roberts joined Engineered Products Company in 2005 as an assistant in the sales and marketing of our products. She helps with the training materials, catalogs, and literature.

Dustin Apple joined Engineered Products Company in 2007 and takes care of our warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, and general office assistance.
