Available for any liquid or gaseous fuel. Sizes from 100 to 2500 horsepower with pressures to 450 PSI.

This model features an external furnace, which opens a whole new range for packaged boilers and available for any liquid or gaseous fuel.

This model features an external furnace, which opens a whole new range for packaged boilers. Inherently low heat release enhances firing performance to reach outputs and emissions requirements not possible with other shell type boilers.

We can integrate auxiliary fuel backup burners or retrofit stand-alone combustion systems into existing boilers.

Hybrid Plants

Higher efficiency, lower greenhouse gas emissions and lower fuel costs.

Higher efficiency, lower greenhouse gas emissions and lower fuel costs with a hybrid plant.

You’re interested in achieving higher efficiency, lower greenhouse gas emissions and lower fuel costs, and you are trying to decide whether to go with a condensing or non-condensing boiler.  You know that a condensing plant is efficient because it recovers heat that would normally be lost up the chimney and uses it to heat your building instead. But you also know that condensing boilers lose their efficiency advantage at higher water temperatures, so perhaps a non-condensing boiler is the way to go?

A more innovative solution is to divide the load between two boilers, one of each type, and to install a control package that dispatches the right boiler based on current load conditions and water temperature requirements.  PK’s hybrid systems mix condensing and non-condensing technologies in a single plant and offer 100 percent of the efficiency benefits of a condensing boiler system, but at an average first cost savings of about 30 percent.
