Chimneys & Grease Ducts

Schebler Co. manufactures chimney exhaust and Grease Duct products which are UL/cUL Listed for use as a positive pressure Building Heating Appliance Chimneys, a 1400°F Chimneys and a Grease Duct.

Each of the models differs in the amount of space and insulation used between the shell and liner.  This combination of space and insulation determines the inner and outer shell temperature and dictates the clearance to combustibles. 

The standard configuration is a 304 stainless steel liner (except for the PAL model) and an aluminized steel outer shell.  For greater corrosion resistance, 316 stainless steel is available for the liner and 304 or 316 stainless steel is available for the outer shell.

Model PAL should be used in all condensing applications.  Model PAL is available in other insulation configurations (similar to P1, P2, P2A & P4) if required.

We recommend model P2A for non-condensing applications.

The Model PAL utilizes an AL29-4C inner liner and is designed for gas fired appliances listed as Category II, III or IV with a maximum flue gas temperature of 550°F and 40"w.c. positive pressure.  The Model PAL is a modular double wall prefabricated exhaust system with 1" air gap for use in venting appliances that require a positive, neutral or negative draft exhaust system.  Sections are provided in lightweight, easy-to-handle lengths.  Connections are sealed with pressure tight drawbands and high temperature sealant.  Straight sections, expansion joints, tees, elbows and support devices are offered, allowing a complete exhaust system to be assembled from standard components, on site, without welding.

The Model PA is a modular double wall prefabricated exhaust system with 1" air gap for use in venting appliances that require a positive, neutral or negative draft exhaust system.  Sections are provided in lightweight, easy-to-handle lengths.  Connections are sealed with pressure tight drawbands and high temperature sealant.  Straight sections, expansion joints, tees, elbows and support devices are offered, allowing a complete exhaust system to be assembled from standard components, on site, without welding.
